Bolehill Recreation Ground, also known as Bolehills Park or The Bole Hills, is a designated district park maintained by Sheffield City Council. Spanning 12 hectares (30 acres) of heathland, scrub, and woodland, it is a designated Local Wildlife Site offering amenities such as a children's playground, tennis courts, bowling greens, and a BMX track. Elevated at 200 meters (660 feet), it provides scenic views over the Loxley and Rivelin valleys.

Historically, the area was a forest clearing used for grazing and later for iron ore smelting due to its high winds, which facilitated the smelting process. By the mid-19th century, quarrying for sandstone became prominent, with the main quarry closing by 1899. Subsequently, the site served as a landfill until the 1950s. The area's industrial past has prevented it from being developed, and it is now surrounded by housing.

Today, the ground is divided into two sections. The southern part, near Crookes, is frequently used by residents and features sports facilities, playgrounds, and allotments. The lower area is primarily woodland with additional recreational amenities. The BMX track, established in 1983, remains active, maintained by enthusiasts and home to the Sheffield Dirt Society.
