U is for Upper Derwent Valley
Today we took the boys for a somewhat sunny stroll to bag ourselves another Ethel, and it just so happened it was in a favourite spot, the Upper Derwent Valley.
Some of the Peak District's most icon hills and ridge lines can be found in the Upper Derwent Valley where Derbyshire and South Yorkshire meet.
On the West side of Ladybower sits the High Peak Estate and Crookhill Farm, in the shadow of our Ethel of the day, Crook Hill.
