Norton Cemetery, opened on 6 June 1869, covers 6 acres and features two alleys extending from its gate houses. It offers views of the Sheaf Valley and moors. The cemetery contains 34 Commonwealth war graves, maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, with 27 from World War I and 7 from World War II.
